This course consists solely of PowerPoint files which contain the course information and instructions in the "Notes" area of the PowerPoints.

1.      Proposal Development
This training is an overview of what to expect with the proposal process, including: Timing of Round 11, eligibility and prioritization criteria, TRP review process, becoming a part of the proposal team, role of the key players, and qualities of successful and unsuccessful proposals.  In addition this presentation lists multiple Round 11 resources.

2.      Proposal Forms
This training goes section by section through the proposal forms and shares “Dos” and “Don’ts” for each section, highlighting the Global Fund guidance documents for each area.  Proposal sections include: 1: Applicant Information and Funding summary; 2: Applicant summary & CCM Eligibility; 3: Country Context; 4: Proposal Summary; 5: Monitoring and Evaluation (Performance Framework); 6: Pharmaceutical and other Health Products; 7: Funding Request; and 8: Management Strategies.

3.      Proposal Considerations – Sub Recipients
You are often required to assess, select and manage SRs under a Global Fund project.  This section offers guidance with this work, and how you can include SRs in the proposals.

4.      Monitoring & Evaluation
M&E is a major factor in the Global Fund’s performance based funding model, and how you set up your indicators during the proposal stage will impact the life of the grant.  In this training you will get more information about the M&E sections of the proposal, including the Performance Framework and Logframe (new to Round 11).

5.      Procurement and Supply Management
PSM costs represent nearly 40% of all Global Fund expenditures – so understandably the Global Fund places a huge emphasis on this!  This training will lead you though what the GF expects for PSM in your proposal and during the life of your grant.

6.      Budget Development
This section not only details what the Global Fund expects in the proposal, such as a comprehensive gap analysis and activity based budgeting, but also discusses reporting requirements.  This should give you a better overview of how to develop your proposal to ensure high quality budget management throughout the life of the grant.

7.      HIV/TB
This course will give you an understanding of key trends in Global Fund HIV/TB programming, PSI’s experience, and recommendations to write a technically sound proposal.

8.      Malaria and Child Survival
This course will incorporate Roll Back Malaria and PSI guidance for Round 11 proposals, including activities which integrate Maternal and Neonatal Health.
